Hold’em
Red Star offers Fixed, Pot Limit and No Limit Hold’em Games.
The Fixed Games run between $0.04/$0.08 and $100/$200. There are 2-handed, 6-handed and 10-handed tables available. Up to $30/$60 the action is almost always running, higher games run more occasionally.
The Pot Limit Hold’em tables run between $0.05/$0.10 and $3/$6. To be honest these games don’t run a lot, since the network attracts more players that are used to the no-limit or fixed games.
No Limit Hold’em is the most popular form of cash games at the network, games are offered between $0.02/$0.04 and $50/$100, separated in all sorts and forms, from Heads-Up to Full Ring. Up to $10/$20 there’s always several games for every stake level running.

 

Omaha
Omaha Hi games are offered in Fixed and Pot Limit.
Fixed Omaha Hi hardly ever runs, although there are tables available so this might change in the future. The popular Pot Limit Omaha Hi is available between $0.02/$0.04 and $50/$100.
Oma Hi/Lo is also available in Fixed, Pot Limit and No Limit.

Regular
Red Star hosts some nice daily guaranteed tournements, which results in the fact players can compete on a daily basis for big prize pools. Freeroll
Freerolls are hosted daily in Hold’em NL and enable you to qualify for one of the big regular tournaments for free.

Satellite
In the satellite tab a lot of tournaments can be find that will enable you to qualify for bigger tourneys. Not only can you qualify for the big tournaments at Red Star itself. It’s also possible to win a seat in a big live event like the World Series of Poker (Las Vegas, USA), the Irish Open (Dublin, Ireland) or the Master Classics of Poker (Amsterdam, Netherlands).

 

 

6. Sit ans Go (7)

One table
One table sit and Go Tournaments are offered for No Limit Hold’em only. These games run with a normal structure as well as turbo.
The No Limit Hold’em SnG is running for buy-ins between $1.20 and $260 and is available 6-handed as well as 10-handed.
Heads-Up Sit and Go’s are offered until $5000 tournaments.

8. Security and Reliablilty (8.5)

Being part of the big Cake Network makes sure all players at Red Star don’t have to worry about anything considering security of their account. You can login to your account from the Lobby. Once in the Cashier tab, it’s very easy to manage your funds. An incredibly nice option is to change your poker nickname frequently. This means players using databases on the tables won’t get a hold on you and you will be unpredictable all the time. Player’s nicknames can be changes every 7 days. A unique option that we haven’t notices on any other site until now.
 
About the security of the software itself Red Star says:
Collusion
Collusion is an unacceptable practice that undermines the integrity of the games. In order to combat collusion Res Star employs numerous preventative security measures which include random security checks and log-file reviews. Our analysis includes automatic tracking of betting patterns related to the strength of a player's hand and referencing that against other player’s actions at the same table to determine if they may be working together. Sophisticated algorithms are employed to identify, track and uncover collusion help to ensure the integrity of our system and fairness at our tables.
Our Security Team will promptly and thoroughly investigate all complaints registered by players suspecting questionable practices or collusion. Any player found to be participating in collusion or deceptive practices will have their account immediately closed and will be permanently banned from our games.
Hackers
All communications between the client program running on your computer and the Red Star server in Curacao are encrypted using the accepted industry standard 256-bit TwoFish encryption algorithm. The unique cards dealt to each player are delivered exclusively to that particular player's computer thus maintaining privacy and integrity of play. Packet-sniffing by other players cannot be used to gain any advantage. Each player's cards are sent exclusively to that particular player's computer. None of the other computers know what your hidden cards are, thus preventing an opponent from hacking their client software to determine your cards.
Bots

The use of Artificial Intelligence or “bots” is strictly forbidden. Red Star employs measures to prevent and detect the use of programs that are designed to enable artificial intelligence (non-human) play on the site. Players found to be using such programs will have their account closed immediately and they will be banned from playing at the site permanently.
